In-Line Mixing

The process of in-line mixing takes place while the product flows through a pipeline – it is possible to feed two liquids or a liquid and a powder.

  1. A static in-line mixer is a set of special baffles placed in the path of the product as it flows through a pipeline. The baffles need to match the specific requirements of a particular substance, yield and the flow cross-section. For appropriate selection, please contact our Company directly.
  2. Homogenizing mixing – in this case, in-line mixing may be performed with a homogenizing mixer: the flow of the product containing two different ingredients to be blended or homogenized is directed into a homogenizing mixer plugged into the pipeline. The working principle of such a system is similar to that of a homogenizing tank, though the process is not as productive and easy to implement. What is important is the mutual position of particular elements installed on the same pipeline and the resistance of flow of the product. For the most efficient utilization of the homogenizing mixer, it is reasonable to use a mobile one, installed on a trolley and equipped with elastic connectors and a control cabinet which may be connected to the main control system of the line.
